HARVEST GULF COAST – 2ND TRY FOR GRANT FUNDING

We are continuing to seek funding for a community garden at St. Patrick’s. Our latest attempt is through Pepsi’s Refresh Project online. To win the grant, Harvest Gulf Coast has to receive votes from online voters. Once again you have to register through the site. After you register you can vote once for Harvest Gulf Coast every day until August 31st. Right now we are ranked 9th in our tier, so we still need more votes to be awarded the grant.

UTO – UNITED THANK OFFERING

We recently sent $185.60 to the United Thank Offering that was collected in our last ingathering.

The United Thank Offering is a ministry of the Episcopal Church. Through the United Thank Offering, men, women, and children nurture the habit of giving daily thanks to God. A short prayer of thanksgiving leads to an offering in the United Thank Offering box. One hundred percent of offerings are distributed as grants for ministries at home and overseas as an outreach of the Episcopal Church.

UTO boxes are available in the narthex. For more information contact Millie Bryant
